Cotton Blankets Distributed Among Filarial Patients

Program Description
In collaboration with Red Cross Society Ballia and C-Far institution, Kashi Baba made for filariasis patients in collaboration with C-Far organization by Dr. Anand Kumar, Secretary of Red Cross Society, Additional Chief Medical Officer on Thursday in Dwakra auditorium of Bansdih Primary Health Center. Cotton blankets were distributed among 100 filariasis patients of Support Group, Village Rajpur, Janseva Support Group, Ward No. 11 Bansdih, Mahavir Support Group Ward No. 3 Bansdih. As soon as the blanket was received, the filariasis patients of the support group knew no bounds of happiness. All the filarial patients sincerely thanked the Health Department, Red Cross Society and Seafar Institute. On this occasion Medical Officer in-charge of Primary Health Center Bansdih Dr. Sanjay Verma, IC Filariasis Sushil Kumar Tripathi, In-charge Filariasis Hemant Kumar, BCPM Rita Ojha, Filariasis PCI Regional Mobilization Coordinator Vikas Dwivedi, Ayushman Bharat District Grievance Manager Anupam Singh, C- District Coordinator of Far, District Coordinator of Red Cross Society Shailendra Pandey, Chairman Sanjay Kumar Gupta, Deputy Chairman Vijay Kumar Sharma, Dr. Pankaj Ojha, Sardar Jitendra Singh, Nirmala Singh, Usha Kumari, Vinay Kumar Srivastava, Sanjay Singh, Harinath, Mantu And Ramashish etc. were present. Ishwar, a resident of Bansdih, Ward No. 3, expressed his gratitude to the Seafar Society and the Red Cross Society for getting the blanket. On the other hand Shivshankarbind, a resident of Rajpur said that ever since the health team is identifying the patients of filariasis. We are getting a lot of support.
