On the occasion of "World Red Cross Day" 08 May, a seminar was organized in the Red Cross Auditorium today. On this occasion, Dr. Himabindu Nayak, General Secretary of Indian Red Cross Society Uttar Pradesh State Branch, wished Red Cross Day to the dignitaries and employees present.

Earlier, the General Secretary lit the lamp to commemorate the birth anniversary of the father of Red Cross, Mr. Sir Jean Henry Dunant. Thereafter, all the people present offered garlands and flowers to his statue.

At the end of the program, plastic buckets and hygiene kits were distributed to the needy people by Mr. Akhilendra Shahi (Vice Chairman), Mr. Arun Singh (Treasurer), Mr. Amir Haider Senior Managing Committee Member and Mr. Shafiq Jama Khan Managing Committee Member.
