District Magistrate Mr. Vishal Singh and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Santosh Kumar Chak distributed nutritional food to 50 TB patients under the Prime Minister's TB Free India Campaign and Chief Minister's 100-day campaign by the Indian Red Cross Society Bhadohi branch. Mr. Vishal Singh praised the work of Red Cross Society Bhadohi and said that Red Cross Society is reaching out to the general public and doing service work. Nutrition potli was distributed today by Red Cross under TB Free India. The efforts of Red Cross Bhadohi in reaching the government's schemes to the general public and making them successful are commendable. Work is being done to free the district from tuberculosis. Tuberculosis is no longer an incurable disease. Freedom from this disease can be obtained with willpower and regular intake of medicine. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Santosh Kumar Chak said that the money given by the government should also be used in making nutritional food, patients should take medicine regularly. A campaign is going on to free the district from tuberculosis. Dr. Ratish Pathak provided necessary instructions to the patients. Secretary Dr. Bharatendu Dwivedi welcomed the District Magistrate, Chief Medical Officer and guests. On this occasion, Red Cross members Arvind Bhattacharya, Abdul Wahid Ansari, Shri Ramesh Chandra Tripathi, Dr. KP Mishra, Information Officer Pankaj Kumar, Alok Gupta, MI Khan, Sarfaraz, Dr. RN Singh, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Abhay Srivastava, Mukesh Shukla, etc. were present.
