Nutrition Packets Were Distributed To 50 Tuberculosis Patients

Program Description
Today on 24/03/25 at 11 am on the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day, under the leadership of Dr. Anurag Srivastava, Coordinator and Chairman of Indian Red Cross Society, under the Prime Minister TB Free Campaign, nutrition material was distributed to 50 TB patients adopted at Community Health Center Bindki and an awareness campaign was run under the 100-day TB Intensive Campaign. Dr. Dharmendra Medical Superintendent Community Health Center Bindki was present as the chief guest in the program. First of all, Dr. Anurag Srivastava garlanded the 5 oldest TB patients Shivkumar, Mehrunnisa, Ahmadi Bano, Sahadei Devi, Ramarti, then Secretary and Senior Treatment Supervisor Ajit Singh showered flowers on all the TB patients and wished them good health. Thereafter, the program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest and Dr. Anurag by providing nutrition material to 5 TB patients. Then the nutrition material was distributed by all the life members present. Thereafter, Dr. Anurag urged all the TB patients and their families to make themselves and all the villagers aware for TB free India. A request was made. Dr Anurag said that along with distribution of nutrition material in urban areas of Fatehpur, Indian Red Cross Society will now provide nutrition material to TB patients in rural areas also till the completion of medical course of the patients every month. Peanuts, gram, jaggery, sattu, protein powder were provided in each nutrition kit. Thereafter, all the life members present provided nutrition material to all TB patients. Along with this, Dr Dharmendra and Laxmi Chandra Omer, who actively contributed in the membership campaign, were honored by giving Chairman's certificate and insignia. Thereafter, today itself, Dr Anurag provided nutrition material to 21 adopted TB patients of Teliani block in TB Hospital premises Fatehpur. On this occasion, Bindki coordinator Laxmi Chandra Omer, life member Dr Suman Srivastava, Anup Agarwal, Vikas Tiwari, Sanjay Agarwal and key associates Rashid Hussain Senior Treatment Supervisor, Rakesh Kumar PPM, Devendra Pratap Singh, Priyaranjan, Gorelal, Prashant Chaturvedi were present.
