Program Description
Today on 22/3/25 at 2 pm on World Water Day, under the joint aegis of Indian Red Cross Society, Arogya Bharti and Dr. Satyanarayan Seva Foundation, under the leadership of Chairman Dr. Anurag Srivastava, a water conservation awareness campaign was run among the traders of Jwalaganj area from Kotwali Road. Under which Dr. Anurag gave a water conservation awareness request leaflet to all the shopkeepers and requested them to save every drop of water today for tomorrow because there is only one percent drinking water in the whole world, of which we have only one fourth, which we all have to save so that the coming generation does not struggle with water shortage. Many of us waste lakhs of liters of drinking water every day in irrigating roads, washing drains, etc. We all have to explain to all those brothers and sisters together. Along with this, rainwater will also have to be collected, only then we will be able to save water for our future generations. Many small efforts like when RO filters one part of water, then 10 parts of water flows out of the sink in vain, we can collect that water through pipes. It can be used for many purposes. For this, it will be very important for all of us to explain to RO water operators because these people filter the water they extract from the ground, then they do not send the waste water back to the ground for recharging, but instead they drain lakhs of liters of water through drains, whereas this is also a crime legally. Also, car wash operators also make the same mistake. Many times while filling water from the motor, we are not able to know that the tank is full and water keeps flowing for a long time. For this, install a water bell which is available in the market for Rs. 150. When water is filled, the bell will start making noise, due to which water will not flow in vain.
So let us take a pledge today on World Ground Water Conservation Day that we will neither waste water nor let it flow and will conserve ground water. Indian Red Cross Society Membership Head Suresh Srivastava, Shahnoor Alam were present on this occasion.
