Today on 16th March, the death of late Rishiraj Tyagi, resident of village Morta, Ghaziabad. In the memory of his wife Sumitra Devi, a blood donation camp was organized by Hari Dutt Tyagi and Virendra Tyagi with the joint efforts of District Blood Bank, Ghaziabad and under the aegis of Indian Red Cross Society, Ghaziabad.

It is to be noted that for the last 4 years, Hari Dutt Tyagi and Virendra Tyagi organize a blood donation camp every year on the death anniversary of Sumitra Devi, dedicated only to the complete service of humanity.

In today's blood donation camp, about 80 participants expressed their desire to donate blood, but only 62 participants could become blood donors as per their eligibility. All the successful blood donors were given a certificate of District Blood Bank and Red Cross Society and a mug as a gift by Red Cross.

The main credit for the success of the camp goes to the team led by Dr. Anshul Chaudhary and Vinod Kumar.

To encourage all the blood donors, we got full support from Rakesh Gupta, DC Bansal, Chhote Lal Kanaujia, Manoj Agarwal, Sunil Tyagi and Mangeram Tyagi from Red Cross as well as all the villagers.

Chairman while issuing a press release Dr. Subhash Gupta said that now the team of Red Cross Ghaziabad has fully matured because today was such an occasion when no top officer of Red Cross was present at the service site.

The success of today's program is the result of the excellent working system of Red Cross.

On behalf of Red Cross Ghaziabad, gratitude was expressed to every resident of Morta village and the entire team of District Blood Bank.
