Women Empowerment and Pratibha Samman Ceremony was organized in JB Mahajan Women PG College Futhawa Inar today on Wednesday under the aegis of Indian Red Cross Society Gorakhpur in which about two hundred and fifty women were honored by giving hygiene kits and shawls. During the program, emphasis was laid on first aid training for the girl students of the college.

The Vice Chancellor of Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Prof. Poonam Tandon, as the chief guest of the program, said that women power has great importance in every field. In the field of education, our daughters are increasing the pride of the country with new dimensions every day. JB Mahajan expressed happiness on seeing the clean and healthy environment of Women's PG College and congratulated the school family for educating women. Along with this, he appreciated the service spirit of Indian Red Cross Society. General Secretary of India Red Cross Society Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Himabindu Nayak, while presiding over the program, said that wherever flags of success are being hoisted in the world, the participation of women is no less. From Dr. Kalpana Chawla in space to Bachenddi Pal who has raised the flag of success to the peak of Everest, are examples of this. Women should never lose self-confidence in their lives. He said that there is a solution to every difficulty in life. He congratulated the entire team of Society Gorakhpur for doing good work. Two hundred and fifty women present in the program were honored by giving them hygiene kits and shawls. The coordinator of the program, the manager of the college, Ishwar Chand Jaiswal expressed gratitude to all the dignitaries. The stage was conducted by Principal Dr. Dinesh Mani Tripathi, former member (Minister of State rank) of Secondary Education Service Selection Board, Uttar Pradesh, Prayagraj. On this occasion, Vice Chairman  of Indian Red Cross Society, Uttar Pradesh, Akhilendra Shahi, Chairman of Society Gorakhpur, Shivendra Vikram Singh, Shafiq zama, Nagendra Singh Munna, Vivek Jaiswal, Ajay Pratap Singh and many others were present.
