Program Description
The Indian Red Cross Society Ghaziabad unit established a new dimension in the health care scheme in the Joint District Hospital Ghaziabad, which was witnessed by the Honorable Minister of State for Energy, Mr. Somendr Tomar Ji.
Today, in the presence of the Minister, Chairman Dr. Subhash Gupta handed over the anti-tuberculosis medicine to Dr. Bhavtosh Shankhadhar, Chief Medical Officer, for distribution to TB patients. It may be noted that with the inspiration of the unit's President/District Magistrate, Mr. Rakesh Kumar Singh, through the Red Cross. Medicines worth about Rs 2.5 lakh have been given to the District Hospital Ghaziabad.
Following the Honorable Prime Minister, nutritional packets were also distributed to 25 tuberculosis patients.
To make the Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat Abhiyan of Honorable Prime Minister a success, sanitary pads were also distributed to all the female patients and female staff of the hospital by Secretary Dr. Kiran Garg and Chanchal Jain while explaining about cleanliness.
The program started a little late, however, we are satisfied that we have worshiped God today. In today's Seva Yagya, Minister Shri Somendra Tomar ji was welcomed by the Vice President/Chief Medical Officer of the unit, Dr. Bhavtosh Shankhadhar, Chairman Dr. Subhash Gupta, Secretary Dr. Apart from Kiran Garg, Chanchal Jain, DC Bansal, Rakesh Gupta, Vipin Aggarwal, Rajesh Gupta, MC Gaur, Preeti Mishra, the head of village Mohiuddinpur, Shri Vijay Namdev welcomed us by rolling the patna and giving a flower bunch.
The Minister said that time is short today, assured to participate in future Red Cross programs and praised the service work of Red Cross openly.
At the end of the program, Chairman Dr. Subhash Gupta gave a token of honor to the respected minister and explained the service work of the Red Cross in more detail and said that I and my team have left home never to stop, nor ever to get tired. To hoist the service flag in the district.
